IPL is the most celebrated ceremony of cricket universally. IPL Auction Simulation by E-Cell NIT-B focuses on financial optimization, price bidding, and teamwork. It challenges judgemental skills, budget management and strategizing to form the best possible team. An event for everyone who not only just loves the game of cricket, but also analyses it to the limit.

Eligibility

The teams registering for the contest must meet the following criteria to be eligible for participation.

Each team must contain 3-4 members

If you do not have a team, all single participants can register and they will be allotted a team later

Rules & Regulations

No member can be a part of more than one team. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification of both the teams

All the members should be present during both the rounds of the competition

The decision of the judges will be final in case of any discrepancy

Every team must buy at least 16 players

In case a team buys more than 16 players, scoring will be done by considering only a team of 16 finalized by the bidder

No team can have more than 6 overseas players in their final team of 16

Each bid starts with a fixed minimum price depending on the player

There will not be any upper limit in the bidding

Any team that uses more than the digital amount given will directly be disqualified

Bidding must be done in a disciplined manner

Judging Criteria

Overall Career Performance of the Cricket Team (Total Rating = Sum of rating of 16 team players)

If scores of any 2 teams are even, Active Players in the Team would be considered.
