It challenges judgemental skills, budget management and strategizing to form the best possible team. An event for everyone who not only just loves the game of cricket, but also analyses it to the limit.

Eligibility

The teams registering for the contest must meet the following criteria to be eligible for participation.

  • Each team must contain 3-4 members
  • If you do not have a team, all single participants can register and they will be allotted a team later

  • Rules & Regulations

  • No member can be a part of more than one team. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification of both the teams
  • All the members should be present during both the rounds of the competition
  • The decision of the judges will be final in case of any discrepancy
  • Every team must buy at least 16 players
  • In case a team buys more than 16 players, scoring will be done by considering only a team of 16 finalized by the bidder
  • No team can have more than 6 overseas players in their final team of 16
  • Each bid starts with a fixed minimum price depending on the player
  • There will not be any upper limit in the bidding
  • Any team that uses more than the digital amount given will directly be disqualified
  • Bidding must be done in a disciplined manner

  • Judging Criteria

  • Overall Career Performance of the Cricket Team (Total Rating = Sum of rating of 16 team players)
  • If scores of any 2 teams are even, Active Players in the Team would be considered.

      quiz

      This is a quizzing round based on the knowledge of previous editions of IPL. It will be an elimination round and top 10 teams will be selected for the final round. The quiz will consist of questions, of varying difficulty levels.

    • 16th February 2022

      round 1 screening

      Results of Round 1 will be announced and top 10 teams will be selected for IPL Auction Simulation

    • 18th February to 20th February 2022 (3 days)

      IPL bidding

      If you like taking calculated risks, this competition is for you. The final 10 teams will compete in a live E-Auction of players. Each team will be given a fixed amount (Virtual Money worth 100 Crores) which will be used by them during the auction. The aim will be to build a team that maximizes the total ratings of the players of the team in the limited budget along with the constraints on the total number of players.
